Holds a PhD in Science from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom. She joined the Biomedical Research Center in 2018 and has worked on various projects focused on integrating new technologies into genomic research and sequencing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was actively involved in whole-genome sequencing of the SARS-CoV-2 virus to identify the circulating viral strains in Qatar.
