Dr. Amani Almaabadi is an Associate Professor and Expert Researcher at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), specializing in Environmental and Blue Biotechnology, with research interests in marine ecosystems, microplastics, One Health, and innovative biotechnological solutions to environmental challenges.
She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and Metagenomics from KAUST and has extensive experience in marine biotechnology, functional metagenomics, technology transfer, and research partnerships.
