Prof. Godfrey Grech, PhD (Molecular Oncology, Erasmus MC) is a Full Professor of Molecular Pathology at the University of Malta and Head of its Molecular Oncology Laboratory. His internationally recognized work focuses on biomarker discovery and early cancer detection, including the discovery of a distinct molecular subtype of triple-negative breast cancer. He pioneered multiplex molecular analysis of exosomes to capture invasion-associated markers, and has led several nationally and internationally funded initiatives translating discoveries into clinical diagnostic tools. He is also Founder of the Gut Restore Program, expanding into precision and lifestyle medicine and the role of chronic inflammation in disease prevention.
