  • Interpret quality metrics and understand the need for quality control

Professor & Senior Bioinformatics Scientist

Dr. Abouelhoda earned his Ph.D. with highest honors from the University of Ulm, Germany, and holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees with distinction from Cairo University. Currently a Full Professor in Egypt and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Saudi Arabia. Recognized as one of the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University in 2024, with over 7,700 citations in clinical genomics and bioinformatics.
